Two good options — but the right one depends on where you work. Here's the honest breakdown.
Share on WhatsAppKondhwa is ₹11,000 cheaper on 2BHK rent. Kharadi has a shorter commute to more offices. The right choice depends on where you work.
Kondhwa saves ₹11,000/month on 2BHK rent compared to Kharadi — that's ₹132,000 per year. Over a typical 2-year rental tenure, that gap adds up to ₹264,000. Since Kondhwa also has competitive commute times, it is the stronger all-round value pick.
Kharadi is in East Pune; Kondhwa is in South Pune — they serve different office clusters. Professionals working in the East belt will almost always find Kharadi faster; those in the South corridor should favour Kondhwa.
Neither area has Pune Metro access, so both require cab, auto, or own vehicle for most commutes. PMPML buses (₹900/month unlimited pass) serve both areas but substantially extend travel time on peak-hour routes.
Kondhwa has the clear rent advantage — ₹11,000 cheaper per month for 2BHK.
