Two good options — but the right one depends on where you work. Here's the honest breakdown.
Share on WhatsAppChinchwad is ₹3,000 cheaper on 2BHK rent. Pimple Nilakh has a shorter commute to more offices. The right choice depends on where you work.
Chinchwad saves ₹3,000/month on 2BHK rent compared to Pimple Nilakh — that's ₹36,000 per year. Over a typical 2-year rental tenure, that gap adds up to ₹72,000. Since Chinchwad also has competitive commute times, it is the stronger all-round value pick.
Chinchwad is in North Pune; Pimple Nilakh is in West Pune — they serve different office clusters. Professionals working in the North belt will almost always find Chinchwad faster; those in the West corridor should favour Pimple Nilakh.
Chinchwad has Pune Metro connectivity while Pimple Nilakh does not. If your office is near a metro line, Chinchwad's ₹855/month metro pass can save ₹5,000–₹12,000/month compared to daily cab fares — a saving that can close or reverse any rent premium Chinchwad might carry.
Chinchwad has the clear rent advantage — ₹3,000 cheaper per month for 2BHK.
