Two good options — but the right one depends on where you work. Here's the honest breakdown.
Share on WhatsAppUndri wins on both rent (₹10,500 cheaper/month for 2BHK) and commute (faster to more offices). It's the stronger all-round pick.
Undri saves ₹10,500/month on 2BHK rent compared to Pimple Saudagar — that's ₹126,000 per year. Over a typical 2-year rental tenure, that gap adds up to ₹252,000. Since Undri also has competitive commute times, it is the stronger all-round value pick.
Pimple Saudagar is in West Pune; Undri is in South Pune — they serve different office clusters. Professionals working in the West belt will almost always find Pimple Saudagar faster; those in the South corridor should favour Undri.
Neither area has Pune Metro access, so both require cab, auto, or own vehicle for most commutes. PMPML buses (₹900/month unlimited pass) serve both areas but substantially extend travel time on peak-hour routes.
Undri has the clear rent advantage — ₹10,500 cheaper per month for 2BHK.
